We request 4 nights of WIYN/MiniMo optical observations to provide critical ancillary data for our large (250 orbit) HST program to characterize star-forming galaxies at the epoch of peak star formation rate density. These optical data will help us constrain stellar masses and dust extinctions for thousands of galaxies at 0.5< z < 2.5. With the combined HST/WIYN data we will measure the evolution of the mass- metallicity relation over 1 < z < 2, reaching the faint/low mass end (to 0.1 L^*) with our deep HST WFC3/IR images. In addition, stellar mass measurements enabled by these WIYN observations will be used to constrain the mass-size relation in early type galaxies, which we are uncovering with low-resolution WFC3/IR spectroscopy. These new observations will have lasting archival value, as they build upon a significant investment of HST time, and contribute to a number of other projects. We will include these imaging data in a public release of our HST data.
