The radial velocities of OB stars are used to determine the values of some galactic structure parameters of the main kinematic effects in the solar neighborhood. Both the theoretical model and the observed field of radial velocities are developed in series of orthogonal functions. Some important advantages of this system are that the geometric conditions of the problem are reduced to a small number of equations and that each of these equations can be set up independently.
