Scientific paper
The interaction between a stellar density wave driven spiral shock and a
corrugation wave in a galactic disc is calculated numerically under the
tightly wound approximation. The results show that the detailed
structure of the galactic shock can be significantly modified by even a
small amplitude corrugation wave.
