Galactic-scale gaseous outflows are a common feature of vigorously star-forming galaxies, and are expected to play an integral role in the feedback processes that drive the global decline in star formation and the increase in the number density of red galaxies between z 1 and today. Using individual and coadded rest-frame UV spectra of galaxies at 0.3 < z < 1.5, we study cool gas kinematics traced by the MgII 2796, 2803 and FeII 2586, 2600 transitions. We identify outflows from the Doppler shift of these absorption lines and find that the absorption strength (equivalent width) of the outflow increases with host galaxy stellar mass and star formation rate (SFR). We follow the co-evolution of outflows and their host galaxies to search for changes in outflow strength with the average decrease in SFR with galaxy age. Finally, using high-resolution HST/ACS imaging in tandem with our spectral analysis, we explore trends in outflow properties with galaxy SFR surface density and morphology.
