The present construction process for composite models of the mass distribution in galaxies involves the choice of: (1) equations connecting descriptive functions; and (2) an analytic form for the initial descriptive function, followed by; (3) the determination of the parameters of the initial descriptive function; and (4) the calculation of all needed descriptive functions. An effort is made to incorporate virtually all available data on the structure, kinematics, and astrophysical properties of galaxies. In the second part of this work, a novel multicomponent model of the Galaxy is presented.
