This is a short and "sensational" way of presenting two models of the
origin of galaxies based on the galactic halo. The galactic
"cannibalism" is a theory evolved in 1978 by Searle and Zinn, according
to which the evolution of galaxies goes through capture and accretion of
smaller satellite galaxies.
