The fabrication of GaAs diode arrays for X-ray imaging spectroscopy
applications is described. Special attention is paid to the processing
of wafers and devices to allow integration with different readout
Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) using flip-chip bump
bonding techniques.
