Recent work by Green et al. (2008) and by Reynolds et al. (2008) shows that supernova remnant G1.9+0.3 is expanding at a significant rate (~0.2" or ~0.6% per year) thus making it arguably the youngest known SNR in our Galaxy. By comparing these proposed observations with previously unpublished ATCA radio-continuum observations from 1993 we aim to accurately determine the rate of expansion of this SNR, inspect previously unseen morphological features and conduct a detailed polarisation study.
