The Microvariability and Oscillations of Stars (MOST) satellite has detected low-amplitude light variations (Δ m˜1 mmag) in the late-type Be star β CMi (B8Ve). The photometric variations have periods of ˜ 0.3 days. This is consistent with high-order, prograde (m = -1) g modes %excited by the Fe-bump of opacity at T˜ 2× 10^5K of a nearly critically rotating 3.5 M_&sun; model.
