The new supernova remnant G 272.2-3.2 initially discovered in the ROSAT
survey has been observed by a 22 ks ROSAT pointed observation. Spatially
resolved spectral analysis revealed somewhat lower temperatures as
compared to the survey data. Still, the remnant appears to be relatively
young and dominated by cloud evaporation processes in its interior.
