Spectra of the flare-active visual binary G 208-44/45 obtained at the 180-cm Cassegrain reflector of Asiago Observatory have shown both components to have characteristic M6 eV features. A rough estimation of the radial velocity indicates old disk population kinematical characteristics. This is consistent with the abnormally weak hydrogen emission lines observed in the spectra of these red dwarfs. During our observations, a 0.5 mag flare of the brighter component was detected visually on the spectrograph guiding monitor. Since the fainter component also has spectroscopic and photometric characteristics typical of a flare star, G 208-44/45 is another possible example of a double flare star.
