A possible contribution by a team at Konkoly Observatory of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences to the ground-based support of the Eddington mission is presented for different types of asteroseismologically interesting targets, which I have obtained in the last few years. Although our observational practice covers practically the whole HR diagram (RR Lyrae, Cepheid, δ Scuti, λ Bootis, γ Doradus, SPB, β Cephei stars and white dwarfs), the examples presented here concentrate mostly on my latest work. A photoelectric photometer on a smaller telescope or a CCD/photometer on a larger telescope were used depending on the target's brightness. The different aspects of ground-based support during the preparatory work and during the mission are discussed.
