Scientific paper

The identification of 160 H-alpha emission-line objects located in five
southern regions near the Galactic equation (Canis Major, Puppis,
Carina, Musca, and Norma) is reported. Epoch 1950 coordinates, finder
charts, and cross references to other catalogs are provided for the
objects.
