The author's series of papers on the mutual comparison of earth gravity field models (EMs) using lumped geopotential coefficients is completed with this paper. Three sets of EMs are formed and tested: GEMs, SAO SEs, and GRIMs. Accuracy estimates of GEM 10B, L 2, GRIM 3, 3-L 1, and resonant solutions from a previous paper are emphasized. Inaccuracies in the EMs and differences between them expressed in the form of lumped values, are converted to the maximum differences and inaccuracies in the semimajor axis of a satellite orbit. Numerical applications to particular satellites, especially to altimetric satellites and to MERIT EMs, are made.
