Reference is made to an earlier study (Chanan, 1983) in which the issue of quasar luminosity correlations has been considered in the context of Gaussian distributions of absolute magnitudes. It is then suggested that a power law luminosity distribution, at least in the optical, might better describe quasars. It is shown that the results of the above mentioned paper can be extended to other luminosity functions, in particular to a set of functions closely approximating power laws.
