We propose ground-based optical photometric and spectroscopic follow up observations of a substantial fraction of the ~100 white dwarf plus red dwarf binary targets in our Hubble Space Telescope Cycle 13 Snapshot program (#10255). Spectroscopy will enable measurement of T_eff and log g for the white dwarf components, while photometry will allow full spectral energy distribution determination for all system components. Together with our near-infrared photometry, these data will yield photometric distance estimates to all white dwarf and red dwarf components in these binary and multiple systems. Determination of distances and spectral types will enable the full range of science possible from this unique study; secondary (and tertiary) mass estimates and orbital separations for the ~50 or more resolved white dwarf plus red dwarf systems.
