The motion along the earth and lunar orbits of a space vehicle employing low thrust is presently analyzed, starting at the collinear libration points. This functional analysis reveals the existence of piecewise constant controls; the calculation of these controls' effects indicates a range of values for the command vector which, in the case of fuel durations greater than 100,000 sec, is consistent with the hypothesis of small thrust.
