Atmel approach to system on a chip isn't only adding more gates into one chip. In fact, Systems on a Chip will be affordable by the space industry if they are offered with means providing more versatility to the chips which will allow reusability, with a relevant design methodology that will give the users the possibility to develop their own reusable blocks library or those developed by Space Agencies or by the Silicon suppliers.
