The fractal structure of large scale galaxy distribution is examined, using the CfA redshift survey (Huchra et al., 1983). It is found that the galaxy distribution is fractal, with a fractal dimension of about 2.0. Galaxies of different luminosities show different fractal dimensions, indicating that they may correspond to different perturbation ranges in the early universe. It is shown that scales less and greater than 10 Mpc have different fractal dimensions.
