The three short period pulsating variables BD - 7°1108 ≡ V 1162 Ori, KU Cen and V 567 Oph were investigated using new photometric data. The analysis of new data acquired on V 1162 Ori together with other data in the Geneva photometric system confirms the monoperiodic nature of the star. KU Cen shows a very asymmetrical light curve with a steep ascending branch and a regular shape from one cycle to the next. The period of V 567 Oph is definitely established to be 0.149521 d. The Fourier parameters found for these stars, as well as those obtained for HD 79889, BD + 43°1894, KZ Hya and BL Cam are discussed with the intention of updating results obtained previously from the decomposition of light curves of Delta Sct and SX Phe stars. In particular, the bimodal distribution of the R21 parameter is substantially confirmed even though the curve obtained for HD 79889 provides a value of R21 filling the existing gap. No clear physical explanation of this distribution can be given.
