An attempt is made to describe an evaluation of expressions for the photometric perturbations arising from f-functions for any type of eclipse in terms of convergent series. Expressions for the f-functions are obtained, and an integral equation that is apparently of some use in Fourier analysis of the light curves of eclipsing variables is reformulated. The components of the photometric perturbations are briefly discussed.
