We present the results of Fourier analysis of a representative sample (N 100) of isolated galaxies in the local Universe. The photometric study focuses on Sb-Sc morphological types because they are the most common among our population of isolated galaxies. We are using SDSS i-band images and measure the spiral strength and bar strength (about 60% of our sample are barred). The results of our analysis are also evaluated in relation to a large set of parameters obtained from a bulge-disk-bar decomposition for the same sample of isolated disk galaxies. Our work is an integral part of the international AMIGA (Analysis of the interstellar Medium of Isolated GAlaxies) project.
