Photoelectric WBVR observations of HZ Her carried out in February - April 1982, September - October 1983 and February - March 1984 have shown that there has been no significant change of the amplitude of the "reflection effect" in the system, despite of the anomalous prolonged "turn-off" state of the X-ray source in 1983 and the following "turn-on" of the source in 1984.
