A test will be performed to verify the point souce target acquisition software of the FOS, as well as the blind offset mode. The test will first image a star of a close (separation 15") double in the large aperture, and then allow the binary search onboard software to determine the centering for that object. A blind offset will then be performed to the second star of the pair, and a camera image obtained to verify the centering. The test will be repeated once to test for repeatability. This program (along with the other target acquisition tests) is the highest priority SV activity to be performed.
