The epoch when z is larger than about 6 is called as dark age of the universe. The first stars should be formed at this epoch. Here, we investigate the thermal and dynamical evolution of the primordial gas, which contains almost no heavy elements, to study when and where the first stars are formed. We also discuss the formation process of the first stars.
