Monte Carlo calculation results are presented for the possibility of relativistic electron-photon shower formation in compact X-ray sources. In modeling relativistic cascade showers, it was assumed that plasma perturbations due to relativistic electron and gamma-ray bombardment were negligible. Pair production in photon-photon collisions, inverse Compton scattering of electrons on target photons, electron-positron annihilation, and scattering of suprathermal electrons on the plasma electrons, are among the processes taken into account.
