We have recently completed one of the widest, deepest and longest blind radio variability surveys performed to date; and discovered 58 faint and as yet unclassified extreme variables and transients. Radio light curves for some sources are inconsistent with any known source class. 50% of our candidates have no optical counterpart down to B = 22 and five candidates coincide with resolved galaxies. We will investigate these sources with ATCA to obtain additional light curve epochs, polarisation, spectral indices and positions; to better understand these sources and enable IR/optical follow-up.
