The spark gamma telescope aboard the Cosmos-264 satellite recorded gamma quanta with an energy above or equal to 100 MeV. Data processing revealed also the presence of charged particles consisting of protons and electrons. The integral flux of these high-energy electrons is calculated to be 75 + or - 24 per sq m per sec per sterad. The results obtained confirm the existence of high-energy electrons in the excess radiation near the earth. A block diagram of the device is provided.
