Fluid of membranes is considered for a variety of cosmological models both in the usual four or higher dimensions. The system of the r-membrane is distributed either over the usual four or higher dimensions. Solutions for the 1-membrane represent a string, while domain walls correspond to solutions for the 2-membrane. Solutions for higher-dimensional models show the contraction of extra dimensions and that membrane-energy - density decreases with the evolution of the universe. A detailed analysis of the autonomous system is performed in a particular model.
