We have studied the total fluence, Ftotal, as a function of the hardness ratio, HR32, on gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) observed by BATSE, and suggested two subsets of bursts divided by division of log(Ftotal) = 4.5 × log(HR32) - 8.5, then investigated correlations between HR32 and Ftotal as well as the distributions of the duration, in the two subsets. The results show that Ftotal is not correlated with HR32 in the entire set of GRBs, while it is in the two subsets, and the division statistically coincides with the division of T90 ~ 2 s. A brief discussion along with the results seems to support the point that the anti-correlation between HR32 and T90 is intrinsic.
