Gyrofluid models are a computationally efficient means of studying MHD-like instabilities as they near spatial scales comparable to the consituent particles' Larmor radii. In order to study the fluctuation spectra of the interchange instability from large scale down to scales smaller than the ion Larmor radius, we have developed a three-dimensional gyrofluid model that spans these scales. We present initial results and discuss their relation to the ionosphere. Research supported by ONR.
