The monitoring of the brightness of HD 191765 in two narrow-band filters has shown an unusual mode of activity with a period of about 7.442 d. The He II 485.9 nm emission line exhibits sawtooth variations with a quasi-period of about 250 s and short-lived flares on a time scale of 5-7 s. Flare events in the emission line are accompanied by drops in the continuum on a time scale of 5-7 s.
