Observations of EV Lac flares in 1980 - 81 during 105 nights at the Majdanak High-Altitude expedition of the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR are presented. Unusually long duration of three flares in July - August 1980 is marked. The initial level of brightness of certain flares was found to be higher than the normal one by 0.1m - 0.3mU, perhaps due to the emission from the preflare regions. The negative preflares (NP), also as a rule, occur on the increased-brightness background; the minimum NP brightness thereby is not lower than the normal one. NP are supposed to originate as a result of short-term weakening of the emission of the preflare regions. The curves of several flares with marked oscillations of brightness during the decay phase are given. The absence of modulation of the flares' frequency by the stellar rotation is confirmed.
