Gravity In More Than Four Dimensions, Kaluza-Klein Theory, Unified Field Theories, Alternative Theories Of Gravity, Field Theories In Dimensions Other Than Four

A five-dimensional Kaluza-Klein model is discussed. One derives, as a
consequence of the quantum fluctuations of the geometry, the existence
of a residual length in the four-dimensional space-time we perceive as
physical.
