A general solution of the five-dimensional Bianchi-V type cosmological
model is presented for a perfect fluid with a given equation of state,
and two particular solutions for gamma are discussed. Both solutions
tend toward the five-dimensional model of isotropic expansion. The
character of the singularity is also examined.
