As part of the YSOVAR GO6 Exploration Science program, we have obtained Spitzer warm mission IRAC monitoring observations of the young star forming globule IC1396A for more than 40 days during Fall 2009. We have also obtained contemporaneous optical and near-IR monitoring data from the ground. The main goal of the program is to be able to characterize the mechanism that causes the observed variability in very young stellar objects. First analysis and initial results from this program are presented.
