Observations of photons at E>=550 GeV from the Crab Nebula are presented. In contrast to previous observations these data have been taken with a system of two imaging atmospheric Čerenkov telescopes. The Whipple Observatory 10 m and 8 m γ-ray telescopes have been used to provide a stereoscopic view of air showers and therefore, the data presented here contain a more complete measurement of air shower parameters. The arrival direction of primary γ-rays has been reconstructed unambiguously using the stereoscopic view of two telescopes with an accuracy of σ=0.14°. The relevance for future multiple-telescope installations operating in this energy range will be discussed.
