We present the first Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) Effect observational results from the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Array (SZA). The SZA is an 8-telescope interferometer with an 8GHz correlator, desgined to be highly sensitive to the SZE on cluster scales. The array has been fully operational in the 26-36GHz band (1 cm) since Spring 2005. A twelve-degree blind survey that exploits the redshift-independence of the SZ Effect is currently underway; the survey limit being effectively a mass limit with little dependence on redshift. This talk will focus on early SZA results from targetted observations of cluster candidates. These cluster observations serve as a test of instrumental performance and as a test of the mass limit for the SZ survey.
