We present our first companion discoveries from a pilot multi-object RV planet search conducted using the SDSS 2.5-m + Keck ET instrument: a prelude to the full-fledged MARVELS project proposed for SDSS-III. Keck ET is a 59-object fibre-fed dispersed fixed delay interferometer which reached 10-100 m/s RV precision for target stars distributed over eleven multi-object plug plates, each plate spanning 3 degrees' field of view. The targets were selected based on colours and a reduced proper motion diagram in order to maximize sampling of main sequence stars. In all, almost 600 TYCHO-2 stars of 8
