With the successful launch of the Solar Dynamics Observatory on February 11, 2010 and the HMI commissioning activities scheduled to be completed, we expect to be producing science quality data by the time of this meeting. In this talk we will start by describing some of the results from the commissioning activities and show how the measured performance compares to that expected.
I will also show a selection of science data including Dopplergrams, Line-of-Sight magnetograms and vector magnetograms. This work was supported by NASA through contract NAS5-02139 to Stanford University.
