In this paper, we prove that every orientable closed 3-manifold dominates at
most finitely many homeomorphically distinct irreducible non-geometric
3-manifolds. Moreover, for any integer $d>0$, every orientable closed
3-manifold $d$-dominates only finitely many homeomorphically distinct
3-manifolds.
