Radio spectra for three local sources on the sun are presented, and it
is noted that each of them shows a jump in flux within a narrow
frequency band. The feasibility of producing fine structure of this type
in the spectrum by a current sheet is noted, it is thought that this
would affect conditions of radio-wave propagation in the solar corona.
