For Hubble Space Telescope programs one can find the status of the observations' execution, processing, and availability from the archive directly at http://www.stsci.edu/hst/scheduling/program_information. One enters a proposal ID to see a proposal summary page, with a link to Visit Status Information. There the overall status of each visit is displayed, and if executed, one can get Data Collection Statistics (DCS) by clicking on the Data Status value. The existence of an execution anomaly, such as failure to acquire guide stars, can be inferred from the DCS page. The DCS page provides a link to the Multi-mission Archive at Space Telescope (MAST) dataset listing for that visit; clicking on a dataset name leads to the MAST Preview page on which details of the exposures and any anomaly are given. From the dataset listing, datasets are easily selected for retrieval; the status of the data distribution system and of your request in particular can be monitored (at http://archive.stsci.edu/help/archive_status.html). For any assistance, contact the archive hotseat at 410-338-4547 or archive@stsci.edu.
STScI is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc., under NASA contract NAS5-26555.
