We present an expanded sample of binary quasar candidates from the Sloan
Digital Sky Survey, based on a double-peaked [O III] emission-line
profile. We discuss possible sources for false-positives based on these
profiles, including radio jet interactions, and compare the statistical
frequency of candidate binary quasars to theoretical expectations.
