With this poster I present a catalog of 666 galactic halo blue horizontal branch (BHB) stars found in the 2dF QSO Redshift Survey (2QZ). A-type stars, such as BHB and blue straggler (BS) stars, are common contaminants in quasar survey catalogs due to their similar colors. BHB stars, which have a relatively constant absolute magnitude, have been proven to be excellent distance indicators and thus useful for exploring galactic halo dynamics. This catalog provides the coordinates of the stars along with their distances, proper motions and radial velocities. We also include bJ apparent magnitudes along with u - bJ and bJ - r colors. The magnitude range of the sample is 16 < bJ < 20.85, which corresponds to geocentric distances of 10-95 kpc. The sample provides two 75° x 5° strips of BHB stars located at declinations of 0° and -30°. The relative depth and density of stars in this catalog make it ideal for investigating galactic halo dynamics. This catalog has numerous uses including solving for the phase space of the galactic halo, searching for multiple stellar populations, setting limits on the dark matter halo mass, estimating the mass of the milky way, and looking for stellar streams indicative of merger or accretion events.
