The yellow supergiant population of a galaxy can act as a very stringent test of the current evolutionary models. However, this portion of the color magnitude diagram is dominated by foreground contamination, indicating a new means of supergiant distinction is necessary. We now present the results from a census of F- and G-type supergiants in M31 based on radial velocity, and the subsequent testing of the current Geneva evolutionary tracks.
