Completion of the Behind the Plane survey means that Local Universe is now quantitatively mapped over 93% of the sky. Half the uncovered area is accounted for by the IRAS coverage gaps. We have used the VLA NVSS and digitised optical data, combined with the tight 20cm/60 (micron) relationship, to select pseudo-IRAS galaxies in these coverage gaps. The northern spectroscopy is largely complete and shows the project to be viable.
