Temperature depressions on 32 GHz solar radio maps corresponding to dark filaments on H-alpha filtergrams are discussed. Observationally the depressed areas are broader than the associated H-alpha filaments. From a simulation analysis, however, it is concluded that radio and H-alpha filaments are almost the same size. Broadening of radio filaments is caused by antenna beam size. Two types of filaments disappearances are found. In one type the radio temperature depression disappears with the H-alpha filament. In the other type the temperature depression continues after the H-alpha filament disappearance. In this study, the former type occurred more frequently. This result is contrary to previous studies. In the former type coronal mass ejection inducing geomagnetic disturbance is sometimes observed. This suggests that the disappearance of the radio filament is accompanied by the eruption of filament material into the corona.
