Important properties of the fluorescent iron line profiles (at 6-7 keV) of NGC 6814, due to a highly inclined disk, are reported. The properties of the line profiles may provide some direct evidence for the existence of a black hole in the nucleus of NGC 6814. Examples of emission lines from accretion disk self-eclipse are considered, since NGC 6814 is thought to have a very high inclination within the hot spot model, and a narrow k alpha line. It is shown that the doubled-horned emission line is seen when line emission is dominated by Doppler effects, and that in the line emission region very close to the black hole, the gravitational lensing of the light emitted by the rotating matter behind the hole generates another feature between the two Doppler horns. The disk geometry is important to the actual shape of an emission line, especially when the system has a high inclination angle. The natural width of a line profile and its strength will be greatly reduced if a deep eclipse takes place.
