A [Fe/H] - φ 31 - Period relation is found for c-type RR Lyra stars in globular clusters. The relation is analogous to that found by Jurcsik & Kovacs (1996) for field ab-type RR Lyra stars, where a larger period correlates with lower metallicity values for similar values of the Fourier coefficient φ 31. The metallicity of field c-type RR Lyra stars and those within ω Cen are also examined using the new relation and these results are also presented.
